“It has been a pleasure working with Moore Recreation. Philip has worked one on one with my 10 year old son for about 1.5 years. He has creatively introduced a variety of new activities while rising to the occasion of the many challenges that have arisen. He is professional and continually assessed how to build on my son’s interests to develop robust leisure skills. My son has developed interests in working out, meditation, and soccer, which is a direct result of our work with Philip. Big thank you to Moore Recreation for the work they are doing and for Tamica pairing us up with Philip. As a family in the disability community, we are so incredibly thankful. Adaptive Aquatic Training: 

Dear Tamica,

Since the training we have began offering adaptive swim lessons which has received great response from the community. 

Staff have been able to apply the creative, patience approach they learned during the training into not only our adaptive swim lessons, but all of our swim lessons. It also allowed us to revamp all of our swim lessons reevaluate and implement our approach to swim lessons.

"Tamica as our rec therapist has brought so much to our unit. Tamica meets with our activity staff to provide material and topics that are beneficial to our mental health patients.  Tamica has created 5 week educational base packets that serve as our rehab group material.  She then meets with all our mental health workers to review and to provide instuction on how to lead these groups. Tamica has taught our staff how to implement these skills into our client's everyday lives to help them gain back their independence. "
